This album has a variety of Embroidered Barrettes and Brooches in traditional styles and contemporary designs. These brooches are approximately 2 inches x 2 inches (not including fringe) the barrettes are approximately 3 inches x 3 inches. The size of the finished piece varies from item to item and it depends on size of the seed bead used in the project. Both brooches and barrettes are backed with leather (deer, elk or moose) with edge beading. Depending on the style, both brooches and barrettes have a decorative fringe embellishment. Each item is made with the applique stitch, made with the finest miyuki seed beads, sewn one bead at a time.
